Oh I'm getting close...

Here's the bump update:
35 weeks 1 day. This means...if I go into labor, no steroids! No tocolysis! baby will just come...but hopefully she'll take two more weeks and then be fully done :-)

I have resorted to wearing Mark's shirts because mine are too short and they don't make ANY maternity active wear...

34 Weeks and in the clear!

We had our last ultrasound (hopefully) this morning and I'm in the clear for labor whenever it may happen. I know it makes scheduling more difficult, but the hope is no c/s for now and a much much shorter recovery time :-)

Escalante!

A few weekends ago we took a fun trip that Mark and planned to Escalante. It was a good chance to get away and do some fun hiking. I think one of the harder things about pregnancy is feeling like I get left out of doing things I used to do because they aren't super comfortable and I can't really do them anymore...like biking, climbing, running, etc so hiking still falls in the realm of stuff I can do and that gets me outside :-)

This was on Lower Calf Creek and preceeded Phoenix being attacked by two dogs, Mark, then in an effort to protect Phoenix ended up sitting in a cactus and getting cactus in his butt, and the woman who owned the dogs subsequently offering to get the cactus out of Mark's butt. If we hadn't been so mad about the angry dogs it would have been quite funny...

Chip holder. Note the cute cabins in the background-that is where we stayed! Phoenix ate a whole bar of the all-natural soap that was waiting for us.

32 week bump shot:


This past weekend was my most lovely baby shower....I am awaiting photos from the shower but will hopefully post them soon!

Changes!

This weekend Mark and I spruced up the nursery :-) We did some cleaning, some painting, some taping and some serious assembling. The only glitch was in all the little parts, the crib peeps left out two small plastic pieces integral to the second drawer...so what you see is one drawer and to the right will be another drawer soon!

We changed one red stripe to the chocolate brown, painted three walls a light sea-foam blue that matched the comforter and then painted one wall bright white. We're still waiting on a rocking chair and a little toy box, but here's what we ended up with! We also have all the little details; Mom is going to help with curtains and a few pillows, we are going to find some fun wall stuff, and eventually think we'll add a baby.

I'll be starting night float tonight so may occasionally blog at random hours, don't be worried, I'm only getting a little insomniac-ish, but apparently a body pillow should fix this...I'll keep you filled in!
